What's a wee bit of Dysfunction?

Families haven't changed since the beginning of time. There's been dysfunction throughout history in all levels of families -- from the poor to the wealthy, from the prominent to the less educated.

In writing medieval stories, I've come to appreciate these dysfunctions. In clans, there's the chief, the begotten children, wives, servants, soldiers, crofters, and of course rivals. They must all follow the commands of their betters which sometimes leads to some sort of dysfunction.

In my new Medieval Scottish Romance, THE LORDS OF THE NORTH, I have given you a glimpse into the dysfunction of the Sinclair, Sutherland, Mackay, and Mackenzie clans. These sons must adhere to their laird's will regardless of their want. Coupled with having to do their duty, they must also see to the welfare of all those around them. But what to do when these beloved ones turn against you? Murder, Chaos, Intrigue, and Love all play a part of the dysfunction. To defeat this crippling dysfunction, these lairds must overcome their heartbreak and turmoil.

Join me as we visit Callum Sinclair (The Seduction of Laird Sinclair), Keith Sutherland (Seven Lasses & A Laird), Grady Mackay (Making Her A Mackay), and Kieran Mackenzie (TBA)

Fondly,
Kara Griffin
