His hunger drove him to ravish her mouth. He continued
kissing her, demanding she return his passion. Her response caused his
uncontrolled arousal and blood rushed through his body.
Colin groaned when she sucked at his lips and tugged on his
hair. Her touch excited him to a hectic state. Already unclad, he felt her
hands on his bare chest. Gently, he rolled her onto her back and leaned against
her. He pressed onward between her thighs, groaning in pleasure.
She opened her eyes at the intimacy of his touch. Likely
realizing she wasn’t dreaming, she grew alarmed by his smoldered look. Colin
leaned close to kiss her trepidation away. Her hands tugged his hair again.
Moving his hand between her sweet thighs, he touched her gently and concluded
she wanted him.
She pulled away. “You mustn’t… We shouldn’t…”
Her plea wasn’t wholehearted, but he pulled his hand away. She
enjoyed the sensations he evoked. “You want me, don’t you, sweet lass? Please
say aye.” Colin never wanted anything more in his life. Had the sensuous way
he’d asked affected her?
She didn’t seem to know what to do. He hadn’t hurt her yet,
and he hoped she wanted to feel his touch again. Waiting for her answer with
bated breath, he lifted her chin to better see her expression. Passion diluted
her beautiful blue eyes.
“Aye, I do want you. Touch me…” she whispered in a sleepy
voice.
He released the breath he’d held, and took the tip of her
breast in his mouth and suckled. His hand returned to her womanhood, stroking
her with gentle persuasion. He kissed her breasts with all the passion he possessed,
hoping she felt pleasure.
“It feels good to be loved by you.” Her fingers pressed his
biceps, pulling him forward.
Colin’s need propelled him onward, insisting he join her.
Giving into the passion, he positioned himself and entered her as gently as he
could. Savoring the sweet twinges that surrounded him, he thought he’d die of
pleasure. He couldn’t deny it; at that moment his life depended on her touch.
Holding on to her legs, he wouldn’t retreat.
The sensitivity of her womanhood stunned him. Encased by her
heat, he pushed harder to get through her maidenhead. It was a difficult task,
knowing the pain he’d cause her, but the barrier pleased him because that right
belonged to him. She came off the tartan and dug her nails into his shoulders
at the painful invasion. Though she tried to push him off, he was as steadfast
as a hundred-year-old tree and couldn’t be budged.
He whispered against her cheek, “Hold on, sweetheart. I’ll
not move until…”
She huffed in shock by their actions. “You’re hurting me.
Get off me, you lout, or I’m going to weep like a babe.”
He almost laughed, but instead, he leaned to kiss her fear
away. He moved his mouth to her lips. “Kiss me and the pain will go away.”
She did as he asked, lightly touching her tongue to his. It
was the most sensual kiss he’d ever received. He roved his mouth to her neck,
and placed little kisses along her throat then returned to her lips. Her
passion rekindled. Pressing his cheek against hers, he nuzzled the softness.
He whispered, “I can’t wait any longer. Can you…move?” Her
resistance faded and she moved against him. Lost to any thoughts, his
discipline wavered. His control weakened.
Watching her writhe beneath him, a sudden urge overcame him.
He wanted to keep going and yet end it at the same time. She closed her eyes
tightly and held him as if she’d fall a great distance if she let go. The
warmth encased him. He wondered at the intensity of his emotions.
She whimpered and called his name. Julianna rolled her head
side to side. “I feel strange, and oh…”
“Let yourself go, lass. Feel the bliss.”
She didn’t understand what was happening, but he knew. He shifted,
knowing he too was on the verge of the end. How long could he last with the
torture tugging at him? Colin’s body betrayed him and gave way to its own
reward. When he could thrust no longer, he could barely hold himself up. She
sighed contentedly when he rolled over and pulled her into his arms.
“I think you killed me, sweetheart,” he whispered.
“Mmm. I do adore it, just as Sara had said. I was silly,
wasn’t I?”
Before he could respond, she closed her eyes and fell back
to sleep.
He grinned at her admission. That was a good
enough start for him. He wanted to wake her and take her again but laughed when
she groaned. Holding her close, he didn’t want to release her yet. What the
hell had happened? He’d never had such an intense sexual experience before. He
thought he might be falling for her. If he didn’t know better, he’d have
thought for sure his heart had exploded. He fell asleep with a smile on his
face, lying in the deep enchanted woods of his beloved Highlands.Don't miss Warrior's Pledge
